Volunteering in Worthing

Want to find out more about volunteering in Worthing with us? Read on…

Worthing’s a great place to go out and see live music, there’s a wide range of touring bands that visit venues like The Pavilion, as well as a huge array of tribute acts and other things to see like wrestling, shows, musical and plays. Check out the Worthing Theatres website to get an idea of what’s on offer. Further out there’s places like the fantastic Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham which always has a great programme of acts, or the Duke of Wellington Pub, also in Shoreham.

There’s also loads of smaller venues with local acts playing, and you’re not too far from Brighton and Hove and all the cultural things the city has to offer too.

Being a Gig Buddies volunteer means you can share your passion for music and culture with an adult with a learning disability and hopefully spark a great new friendship that you’ll both benefit from.
